What is the Cousins Awards for Young Scientists and Professionals?
Newly established by former ICRP Chair Dr Claire Cousins, this award recognises the best presentation by a young scientist or professional at an ICRP International Symposium on the System of Radiological Protection. Eligibility is restricted to those within 5 years of having been awarded a postgraduate degree.
If you are eligible, please mention this when you submit your abstract. Up to 4 finalists will have an opportunity to make a presentation at a dedicated live session. A panel of international experts will select the awardee based on the quality of their work and its presentation at the Symposium.
Some applicants to the CRPA Student Paper Contest may also qualify for the Cousins Award. If you meet the criteria and want to be considered for the Cousins Award simply mention this when submitting your Student Paper Contest abstract.
