What is the status of the ICRP 2021 Symposium?
ICRP 2021, scheduled to take place in Vancouver, BC in November 1-4, 2021, has now officially been postponed due to ongoing pandemic related concerns and travel restrictions. The meeting will take place on November 7-10, 2022 in Vancouver, BC.

Refunds

Will my hotel reservation be refunded?
If you have made a hotel reservation within the official Symposium hotel block at The Westin Bayshore Vancouver, your reservation has automatically been cancelled and you will receive a cancellation confirmation within 1 week. If not received, please check your spam/junk folder before contacting the Hotel. Please note that no deposits were collected at the time of booking. If you have booked outside our official block, please contact the Hotel directly.

Will my airfare be refunded?
Please ask your travel agent/airline and let them know you are cancelling or modifying your booking due to the cancellation of the face-to-face ICRP 2021 Symposium. The responsibility for airfare bookings and refunds falls outside the scope of ICRP 2021 and will be dependent on the type of fare booked and your travel insurance coverage.

I was planning to attend ICRP 2021 in Vancouver – can I simply transfer my registration fee to ICRP 2022?
Absolutely. Since the Symposium is simply postponed and not cancelled, your registration will automatically be transferred to the 2022 Symposium and any difference in fees will be refunded when registration re-opens. Should you change your mind or be unable to join us over the new dates, please email ICRP2021-registration@icsevents.com by  July 7, 2021 to request a cancellation with full refund. Refunds could take 2 - 4 weeks to be processed. Any cancellation requests received after this date will be handled when registration re-opens and will be subject to the standard cancellation policy that includes an administrative fee of $75 CAD. Unless we receive your registration cancellation requests by July 7, 2021, all paid registrations will be transferred to ICRP 2022 automatically and any difference in fees will be refunded to you by way of your original payment method when registration re-opens.

Can my Symposium registration fee be refunded?

Will my technical tour tickets and additional social event tickets be refunded?
Yes. If you wish to cancel your technical tours and/or additional social event tickets, please email ICRP2021-registration@icsevents.com to request a full refund by July 7, 2021.  Refunds could take 2 - 4 weeks to be processed. Any cancellation requests received after this date will be handled when registration re-opens. Unless we receive your cancellation requests by July 7, 2021, all paid technical tours and social event tickets will be transferred to ICRP 2022 automatically and any difference in fees will be refunded to you by way of your original payment method when registration re-opens.

Can my Symposium registration be transferred to a new delegate?
Yes. To transfer your registration to another person, please email ICRP2021-registration@icsevents.com with the original delegate’s registration ID or full name and provide us with the new delegate’s information by  July 7, 2021. Any requests to transfer registration after this date will be handled when registration re-opens.

I am a sponsor/exhibitor—What are my options? Will my financial commitment be refunded?

We understand the postponement of the event will affect your plans. We hope that you will commit to participating in the Symposium in 2022. If yes, we will transfer your exhibit/sponsorship booking and guarantee the same conditions as had been confirmed for 2021.

If you decide to cancel your booking and let us know by July 9, 2021, we will refund you fully. Please note that if you then decide to join ICRP 2022, we will not be able to guarantee the same conditions. Exhibit/sponsorship rates for 2022 are also subject to change. Please email ICRP2021-sponsorship@icsevents.com with your decision by July 9, 2021.

Presenters

Will I have to resubmit my abstract next year?
No. We plan to keep all current submissions in place and will provide an opportunity for authors to update already submitted abstracts when we re-open the submission site in 2022. We will contact all submission authors with more details around the new ICRP 2022 Abstract submission process. Please email ICRP2021abstracts@icrp.org with any questions.
